Emergent Wisdom Retreats

Tap into your inner guidance system and listen for where your team is called to go.
Harness the power of self-organization. Allow your collective intelligence to emerge.

The wisdom of inner guidance

Dr. Larry Nusbaum MD’s Inner Guidance Process has helped thousands of people access their inner wisdom for healing, for decision-making, or for inspiration as they embark on new ventures. It is a potent way to find clear direction at a crossroads, get unstuck, and generate innovative solutions.

The method is simple yet remarkably effective and surprisingly powerful. Dr. Nusbaum has developed a unique way to help us, in just a few minutes, reliably tap into the wisdom of our emotions, the knowing in our bodies, and the power of our imaginations.

We can crystallize the wisdom we’ve accessed by writing, drawing or moving the results we’ve received, and then sharing them with a teammate. The Inner Guidance tools that help us navigate individually have also proven powerful when used in community. When the results of each participant's inner inquiry get harvested in the circle, clear and powerful group directions can emerge.

The self-organization of Open Space

Open Space Technology, originated by Harrison Owen, has been used around the world to help organizations to learn and achieve beyond their expectations. It creates an environment for innovation, problem solving, creativity, teamwork and rapid response to change.

In Open Space:
  • A question for which people have passion provides clarity of focus.
  • Seated in a circle, participants create an agenda that is bounded by their passion and responsibility.
  • Participants self-select where they put their energy.
  • It is a self-managed, cross-functional process.

Open Space is a practice of collective flow, agility and awareness. What comes from it is: possibility thinking, emergent leadership, passion and responsibility, improved relationships, increased momentum, and FUN!

Possibilities.  Results.  Learning.  Direction.
